Here’s how your conference call works:

  • Get started immediately: Register a Voxogo account and get 100 free calls per month with your unique PIN. No need to reserve your conference calls
  • Simply pick any 8 digit meeting code for your conference call: 100 million possible meeting codes make your audio conference secure. Use a unique code or a different code everytime. There is no or reservation of meetings or meeting codes.
  • Invite as you like: Invite as with any other meeting by email, calendar, sms or verbally. Please mention Globafy.com, so other participants can find their relevant conference access number.
  • Call your local conference number: Participants can call any of the 50+ free access numbers and simply enter the meeting code. The first caller to enter the meeting code automatically creates the audio conference. The meeting code connects you even across countries.
  • Now your conference call is on. When you enter the code, you are told the number of current participants including yourself. A high-pitched tone signals a new participant. A falling tone signals a participant has left. Simply hang up when you want to leave the conference call.

 

Tips for a great conference call:

 

  • Turning your phone volume too high up, or putting you handset on speakerphone can create echo sounds in the meeting.
  • To avoid echoes, you can mute the phone. Try using a headset or turning down the volume.
  • Call from a quiet place if possible, so you don’t bring a lot of background noise into the conference call.
  • You can mute the microphone on your phone and simply turn it back on when you want to speak.
  • Start your comments by stating your name to make it easy to know who is talking.
  • Keep short breaks between your comments, to allow others to speak without creating interruptions.
  • Do not put your phone on hold or take incoming calls during the audio conference, as this can play music or other sounds in the conference.
